Late last year I took possesion of a pair of Castelli's new Ergo Due Bibshorts that had just landed in our market.  I was drawn to them by the attractive pricepoint pinned to what looked to be $300 bibs. The Italian manufacturer supplies the most technically minded team in the peloton, Team Cervelo and the trickle down of technology from race garments to catalogue items was attractive.

The design, cut and features are along the same lines the Team enjoys.  The lower cut bib stirrups give the feeling of freedom when in place, a design feature that can be found on Castelli's market leading "Free Bib".

I liked the new style leg grippers that edge off the legs nicely, the non gripping sensation of the Due's hold in place without leaving grip marks.

Lastly and most importantly the Gen 2 Kiss pad is awesome and a real drawcard to a bib under $200, the breathability and moisture absorbing ability is a real performer in these Italian beauties.
